My niece ran across the above photos. The caption was "Professional hairstyles
of men" photo (pictured on the right) and "Unprofessional hairstyles of men" (pictured on left). These
photos are what prompted her to write the above hash tagged post to her following on Facebook.
I cant believe that "Black" peoples natural hair is still an issue today. I mean, think about it!
The first person this country girl saw with Locks was a blond headed blue eyed woman whose hair was actually matted to resemble locks.
European hair is mostly natural or permed trying to mimic the overly curly natural hair of People of color so what's up with that? Racism! Pure and simple.

My response to my niece was: Our hair has
always been an issue for them.
First, one must know the history
behind Locks and how the style became known as a “Dread”.
A clear indication of racial
biases and how they have attempted to change our appearance and history over
the years since the Pharaohs, including Buddha’s appearance; YAHshua’s (Jesus)
appearance even Father Abraham; the Apostles; the “Brown Young Virgin, Mary,
and other major prophets and characters in their bible.
A law was actually instituted
that demanded “Black” women wear headscarves because their hairstyles were so
elegantly beautiful and European women could not copy the styles. Although, the
headdress in African spirituality and Africanism depicted our royalty, they
were unaware of it.
My royal niece, Daysha Champlain
is writing about things that has been written and ignored for years. Those same ignored issues is
what has brought America to the state it is in today.
Why is her writing about racism
different than anyone else? In my opinion, she is perhaps far more
knowledgeable and experienced than many. My brother, her dad, is European and
her mother my sibling as with myself and 99.9% Diasporas today are considered "Black" under the 10% rule. That is what qualifies her to question both races and
to write about racism.
I applaud her for standing up and
publicly writing about racism, reaching those who perhaps were nonchalantly
unaware of the seriousness of the plight of People of Color.
The majority of Americans have
never wanted to hear truth and have always “flipped the script” to brainwash
others into thinking their raciest views and biases were alright. Although,
they have always mimicked “Black” people and our genius, yet teach us to hate
ourselves.
There is an unspoken agenda
behind it all that many of European persuasion are not even privy to because
many have lost their way of truth in trying to keep our truth away from us for
over 400 years as to who we truly are.
