Honoring Diaspora Nana A. Kyerewaa Ansah II

 Nana A. Kyerewaa Ansah II

For those of you who think that Diasporas are in Ghana and Africa just taking and talking, operating businesses for their own personal profit, 'rolling in the dough', who do not give back to Ghana/Africa, think again.

Nana Kyerewaa is one of many of Diaspora who has worked tirelessly to build up the communities of Ghana, support students as most of us do, who is finally being recognized for her years of unending dedicated service.

We do not do it for recognition, we do it for the love of our brothers and sisters and our Mother Land. Africans should know that we of Diaspora actually freely give of ourselves, time and finances.

We see the atrocities, injustices and poverty being perpetuated upon our people. We see how dark forces have blinded them, taking away their livelihood, self worth, keeping them in poverty and living below their means. We come to help restore our brothers and sisters to their greatness.

Many Diasporas, if not all, have a divine mandate from the Ancestors and the Most High G-D. Diasporas come to build up not tear down. We come with our own unique gifts, experiences, qualities and Metron that cannot be equated or valued by financial wealth. We should not be deterred, treated offensively or unjustly as an "Oburoni", denied citizenship or made to pay for  caring, loving, working or coming home.

In 2017, Nana Kyerewaa was elected Convener of the Central Region Ascendants Association of Ghana (CRAAAG). She works with numerous organizations, including PANAFEST with Rabbi Kohain Nathanyah Halevi, local Chiefs, Queens and the good people of Ghana. She is one of many of Diaspora who has dedicated her life working for the betterment of Ghana and Africa.

Nana A. Kyerewaa Ansah II was enstooled in Elmina as a queen mother in 1987, 31 years ago.  Nana retired as a senior civil servant from the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington. DC. In 2008 Nana repatriated to her ancestral home of Elmina. Nana is a published author of two books on Akan protocol, the Akan Akom Tradition and several other writings. She is a Ghanaian citizen.

Nana is well known in the K.E.E.A district for her dedication to the education and development of children and the Infrastructures that support them.

It’s time for Africans to rid themselves of the false perceptions fed to them by European and Western deceiver’s via media, religion and a faulty educational system.  It is time that Africans realize that we are them, they are us. It is time for Africans to receive those of Diaspora, supporting and allowing us to freely fulfill our divine mandates as African citizens who have returned home.

Nana, we are proud of you!

WHO WILL BELIEVE OUR REPORT?

Emancipation Day 2018, in my humble opinion, appeared on the surface to be a great success.  Although many Ghanaians still walked away with the attitude as to “what can you do for me”;  the Ghana Tourism Authority, the President’s Office on Diaspora Relations, Tourism Arts & Culture, Assin North District Assembly, Members of Parliament, Kings, Queens, Chiefs and the good people of Central Region of Ghana showed up and showed out!  They welcomed Diasporas from around the world.  It was the most awesomeness event I have had the pleasure of attending.

My first Emancipation Day celebration was met with great anticipation and consternation.  Are Diasporas truly welcome home or are we merely tools to be used to build up the country and communities without proper support, respect and/or acceptance as Africans repatriating home? Will we receive the 40-acres spoken of and proposed by Ghana Tourism Authority? Or will the cost to repatriate be too high without regards to reparations?

Representatives from Ghana Tourism Authority made strong statements as with the President’s Office on Diaspora Relations and other high ranking public servants along with community leaders in regards to the Diasporas welcome to return and acceptance as Africans.  There were strong words of grander, power and might coming from the lips of all the authorities who spoke.  However, with great consternation, many of us Diasporas wonders if those words would ring true and come to fruition.

Many Ghanaians seem to be unaware that Diasporas must pay a costly price with not just finances but personal sacrifices to repatriate and are continually scrutinized and ‘taxed’.  The citizenship process and repatriation process is not conducive to us as Africans of Diaspora, particularly, by those of us who were beckoned by the Ancestors with a mandate; those who want to come home, neither those Ghanaians who truly want us to come home.  Unaware to many, is the fact that all of us of Diaspora, who has been living here for one year or longer, have horror stories and stories of great losses to tell.

Many of us keep our mouths shut to keep from offending those Ghanaians with easily hurt feelings and to keep from perpetuating our enemy’s agenda at keeping us disjointed and fighting each other. Some of Diaspora have lost their lives or died not receiving justice or restitution for those losses or having fulfilled their dreams.  Those of Diaspora have no reprieve and are unprotected by law just as the average Ghanaian is unprotected. Diasporas are not protected or supported by the US Embassy.  The legal process in Ghana works against those who are not as blessed financially as others. We do not need to mention the atrocities faced by the Africans home and abroad by France, Europe, the US, even some African countries  or with China becoming a new advisory vying for  control.

The entire government System needs an overhaul to successfully work on behalf of the country and the people. All government offices/entities and officials need to work together in unity, holding each other culpable for their miss  management, inappropriate operations, misappropriations and their inability to move in a professional demeanor with integrity; and, to process paperwork in a timely competent professional manner. Government officials and workers need the confidence that they can do their jobs, “just do the right thing” without penalty, harassment, reprimand or loss of employment.  Diasporas who work in positions of authority need not be brought up into question or complaint because of some disgruntled jealous African. The fight and discord between political parties must come to an end!  Petty jealousies must stop!

As also stated by His Grace, Professor James Smalls and His Grace, the Kohain, Rabbi Nathanya  Halevi addressed from the podium on Emancipation Day  at Assin Munso, the entire educational system needs to be revamped and updated to reflect our story not that of Western ideology and false history of slaves, their religious or European histories.  Africans must, as I say from the Fante language, SANKOFA!

We were not slaves but were the strongest and intelligence of Africans taken against our will to become slaves. As slaves, we built the Americas, Europe and populated most of the earth. Now, it is past time to be received and return home to build our Mother Land.  It is not all about and should not be about how much money we have or bring or how much or what we will invest.  Truth be told, our tax money from the countries we were forced to helps to aid Africa as well as taxes collected from us here.  Our Ancestors knew what they were doing when they brought  us home. Those of Diaspora, many not only bring their financial wealth but a variety of rich and wealthy experiences to Ghana; to Africa.

The problem lies at the top in African government. The problem lies in the churches and religious leaders.  The problem lies in the schools and educational System. The problem lies with the land/property owners! If the head is sick so is the body.  Often times, it takes someone detached, from the outside to see the problems that Ghana and Africa now face.  Diasporas have been drawn here or sent with a mandate to restore Africa within our Metron (sphere of authority and expertise).  We have been given insight, Revelation, a Vision and a each of us a portion of the Universal Plan;  not by government authorities but by a higher authority-- by our Ancestors!

Many Government Officials are searching for answers when the answer is staring them right in the face. Africans must rid themselves of that false pride to freely receive what the Ancestors and the Universe wants to give.  Africans must come into the reality that those of Diaspora come not to take away from Africa’s rich culture but to enhance it and restore what the colonizers and enslavers took from our Ancestors, when they replaced and  implemented a compromise of acclimation to their substandard way of life.

African Governments must reject so called foreign aid that stipulates what we can or cannot teach our children. We must manage our own resources!  We must manufacture our own products!  African countries must get rid of their boarders and commence intra trade making ECOWAS truly work for not only West Africa but the entire Continent. The Governments must funnel funds down and make loans and grants available to the ‘small business’ people.  We must hold the AU accountable. The tourist areas must be refaced and proper rest facilities built. We must stop importing inferior food stuffs and products that keep us in ill and in poverty; having to replace high ticketed items that do not meet consumer standards with no buyer protection.  We must stop giving tax breaks to those foreign companies who make a great profit off our people and resources, who hire locals paying them peanuts, those companies, must be taxed and as I say “rents raised”. Particularly those who came in years ago and have not contributed to communities or infrastructure yet continue to throw small trinkets to the people making them think they mean them good.  It’s a no brainer as they say.  Africa and Africans must make the Shift in consciousness to receive what the Universe and our Ancestors has initiated and the promises of our inheritance. The entire earth has shifted its magnetic grids and we best catch the vision and shift with Her.

Renegotiate all contracts that worked at that time they were entered into but are now a detriment to the country and its people. All foreign and large companies and corporations should be required to build modern facilities and contribute to infrastructure that surrounds them and community advancements on a perpetual yearly basis.  However, it is the less advantaged who are taxed and must pay as these companies just take.  They return and bank their profits to their own countries leaving a depleted Africa. Know that their so called “foreign aid” is merely a minute percentage of that they take of our natural resources. Their so called loans are a trap of controlling our economy. If it were not for Africa their economies would fall. They need Africa more than Africa needs them!

This is the main reason why the Europeans and the United States DO NOT want those of Diaspora to repatriate. Although, they reject us, they kill us and don’t want us in the countries we have built. They are still taking our strongest and brightest under the guise of them receiving their piece of the “American Pie”.

They have control over certain African politicians and government entities that dissuade and make it difficult for Diasporas to repatriate, particularly Immigration. They are well aware of the richness and wealth of knowledge that we bring to Africa.  Their agenda is to prevent us from sharing that knowledge and experience that would awaken the minds of Africans to see their worth, how important they are, to know that we are the true Chosen Ones; and to keep us disjointed from uniting as a royal nation of peoples.

Since His Grace Nkrumah; since His Grace Rawlinds the ‘Ball of Repatriation’ for receiving those of Diaspora as Africa's own has been dropped.

This Emancipation Day was in its twentieth year of celebrations, yet many Diasporas have not received citizenship and continually pay absorbent fees and exorbitant fines to live and work in our Homeland.  It was under former President J. D. Mahama that some of the twenty plus year residents from Diaspora received Ghanaian citizenship.

It is easy to say welcome home Diasporas, however it’s another to actually be received as welcomed and proper concessions made for those of Diaspora. So, what’s the answer?  It would seem simple to me and every Diaspora…RELAX THE IMMIGRATION LAWS FOR DIASPORAS!   Without which, we as Diasporas, will continue to struggle in our Mother Land for acceptance as foreigners living in a foreign land, rejected by the masses who thinks we are taking from them; who take from us not knowing that we are not only protected by the Ancestors but were brought here by the Ancients of Days to free them,  our brothers and sisters from colonial bondage.

Restoration has come to Africa!  It has come through those of Diaspora.  The systematic and problematic rejection and gouging those of Diaspora; the miss education of our people that perpetuates the colonization/slave/religious mindsets is the major contribution to the spiritual battle and Armageddon now being fought in the spiritual realms by our Ancestors. I cannot speak for all, however, there is strong evidence that confirm Diasporas were sent. I know beyond any doubt that I have been sent with the Divine Universal Message of Restoration that will change mindsets that will set the entire Continent free if adhered to!  How can we truly honor the Ancestors when we reject them and what they are doing to free us and to “Restore Africa beyond Her former beauty”?    Are oblations enough? Have oblations become a mindless empty right?  We disgrace our Ancestors when we turn away from them to honor the gods of the enemy who demonized our Ancestors and true African Spirituality turning Africans away from the Way, Truth and Light.

Know that Africans are fighting a battle within the mind. We must unite and SANKOFA! We must return to the Way of the Ancients!  We must take back what was once ours. In order to do that, Africans must know who they are and their history apart from their captor’s religion and all that they have taken and keep from us.    We must rid ourselves of the false religion and gods that have thrust the African, the Chosen Ones into 400-years of bondage and darkness of ignorance.  The 400-years is coming to a close.  It is Africa’s time!  The choice to receive or reject belongs to each individual. The choice to make the Shift; to tune into the Mother Land and Gaia’s vibrations is now.

Look around you. Be honest.  Has their religion of Christianity made a positive or spiritual rich impact in your life?  How about the economy?  Has religion given you your financial inheritance of prosperity?  How about technological advancements?  Perhaps improved infra structure and the basics of life enjoyed by all the world except Africa?  Has Christianity contributed to the quality of life for Africans? Has the titles of religious epithets created or increased a successful business? Einstein said that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

An immediate restructure of Immigration rules and laws is in order and would be a start, pass the talk, of which  without restructuring and making just concessions for Diasporas nullifies the  repatriation process; thwarts the efforts of other government entities efforts to support and welcome those of Diaspora; and, detour those of Diaspora who wants to come Home.
“Come out of Her My People”!

Who will believe our report?  What report will we give to others of Diasporas who wants to come home?

I leave you with the less understood erroneously miss appropriated and applied scripture borrowed from our Ancestors; and, to whom it was addressed from their Christian Bible, “If My people, called by My Name will humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways and seek My Face then they will hear from heaven and I will heal their Land”.
