African Union Condemns US President

African Union, International Community Condemns United States President Donald Trump for Racist Slurs Statement distorts actual role of African people in building capitalism and imperialism.

Each week another controversy unfolds in the United States over the character of the administration of President Donald Trump.

At a White House meeting of Congresspersons on January 11, Trump reportedly described the nations of Africa, El Salvador and Haiti as “shithole countries.” He also said that more people from Norway should be immigrating to the U.S. and not from places where there are dark skinned people.

The meeting was centered on working out a legislative response to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program where millions of undocumented residents are facing deportations to the countries where they were born. Trump has built up his political base by appealing to reactionary and racist elements within U.S. society.

Later Trump claimed that he did not use those particular words. However, on January 14, he twitted that he wanted people coming into the U.S. which would make America great again, and presumably these individuals would be of European origin.

The African Union (AU), a continental organization which has representatives from 55 member-states, issued a statement condemning Trump’s utterances saying they were an insult to not only Africans on the continent notwithstanding those of African descent in the U.S. Officials in Haiti, a majority African state in the Caribbean, harshly criticized Trump as well.

AU spokeswoman Ebba Kalondo said of Trump’s remarks that:

“Given the historical reality of how many Africans arrived in the United States as slaves, this statement flies in the face of all accepted behavior and practice. This is particularly surprising as the United States of America remains a global example of how migration gave birth to a nation built on strong values of diversity and opportunity. We believe that a statement like this hurts our shared global values on diversity, human rights and reciprocal understanding”.

The Washington, D.C. offices of the AU said it was “shocked and dismayed” at the U.S. head-of-state’s remarks. Despite Trump’s denial, Illinois Democratic Senator Richard Durbin, who was present at the meeting, said publically that these were the words used and the president had repeatedly referred to Africans, Haitians, among others, in such derogatory terms.

This response from the AU noted the:

“remarks dishonor the celebrated American creed and respect for diversity and human dignity. While expressing our shock, dismay and outrage, the African Union strongly believes that there is a huge misunderstanding of the African continent and its people by the current Administration. There is a serious need for dialogue between the U.S. Administration and the African countries.”

A media advisory issued by the Republic of Botswana in Southern Africa asked for clarification as to whether its citizens fall into the category Trump described. Botswana, a diamond-rich nation with a history of post-colonial stability and a multi-party democratic political system, has cooperated with the U.S. for several decades. The country is a member of the regional Southern African Development Community (SADC), which includes 16 member-states.

The Botswana press release circulated on January 12 said:

“The Government of Botswana is wondering why President Trump must use this descriptor and derogatory word, when talking about countries with whom the U.S. has had cordial and mutually beneficial bilateral relations for so many years. Botswana has accepted U.S. citizens within her borders over the years and continues to host U.S. guests and senior government officials, including a Congressional delegation that will come to Botswana at the end of this month. That is why we view the utterances by the current American President as highly irresponsible, reprehensible and racist.”

The African National Congress (ANC), the ruling party of the Republic of South Africa, which celebrated its 106th anniversary on January 8, came to power as all African states through a struggle against racism, colonialism and imperialist domination. The ANC condemned Trump’s racist remarks saying they were an insult to Africans throughout the world.

ANC Deputy Secretary General Jesse Duarte condemns Trump’s racist remarks

Jesse Duarte, the Deputy Secretary General of the ANC, in response to Trump’s language stressed:

“Ours is not a shithole country, neither is Haiti or any other country in distress. It’s not as if the United States doesn’t have problems. There is unemployment in the U.S. and there are people who don’t have healthcare services. We would not deign to make comments as derogatory as that about any country that has any kind of socioeconomic or other difficulties.”

South African President Jacob Zuma has summoned the U.S. ambassador to his country in order to provide clarification on the racist statements by Trump. The former apartheid system in South Africa was based on the same ideology of white supremacy which still permeates the U.S.

Africa Was Underdeveloped by Europe and the U.S. amid Racist Immigration Policy

The characterization by Trump of states in Africa, the Caribbean and Central America in such negative terms misleadingly ignores the centuries-long exploitation and oppression of these territories. Historians have documented that the enslavement, colonization and modern-day dominance of the world system by imperialism, which Washington and Wall Street controls, served to propel the West in economic development resulting in turn with the underdevelopment of oppressed nations.

Guyanese historian Dr. Walter Rodney wrote in his pioneering work entitled “How Europe Underdeveloped Africa”, published in 1972, noting that the:

“Mistaken interpretations of the causes of underdevelopment usually stem either from prejudiced thinking or from the error of believing that one can learn the answers by looking inside the underdeveloped economy. The true explanation lies in seeking out the relationship between Africa and certain developed countries and in recognizing that it is a relationship of exploitation.” (p. 22)

Haiti is a nation born in revolutionary struggle against slavery and colonialism. The country was the first in history to transform itself immediately from a slave state to a republic. Nonetheless, the declaration of independence in 1804 after a twelve year war against France was met by decades of sanctions from Paris and the lack of recognition by the U.S. until the Civil War. Even today, Haitian workers are exploited through low-wage labor and are subjected to national discrimination as immigrants in the U.S.

Haitians demonstrate against United States President Donald Trump’s racist remarks

The much anticipated aid from the U.S. in the wake of the earthquake of 2010 never materialized. Even the Democratic Party stalwart and former U.S. President Bill Clinton failed to account for the hundreds of millions of dollars which were collected for relief and development assistance which never took place.

Haiti has been occupied on numerous occasions by the U.S. where during 1915-1934 the country was a de facto colony of Washington subjected to segregation and lynching. Another two invasions were carried out by the U.S. in 1994 as well as 2004, coinciding with the bicentennial of their independence.

U.S. immigration policy has always been slanted in favor of persons from Europe in order to ensure the dominance of the majority white population. Nevertheless, rapidly shifting demographic changes will bring into existence a majority people of color nation by the middle of the 21st century. These social variables are fueling the racist state in its efforts to curb immigration from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, along with the reversal of bourgeois democratic rights for the oppressed nations and national minorities inside the U.S.

These actions by Trump although atrocious provide opportunities for solidarity among the impacted peoples. The combined efforts of the peoples of the U.S. and the world can defeat racism and capitalist exploitation paving the way for mutual cooperation and genuine equality in relations among nations throughout the planet.

Press Release From West Indies

Professor Hilary Beckles, Vice Chancellor
University of  West Indies

The democratic, nation-building debt the American nation owes the Caribbean, and the Haitian nation in particular that resides at its core, is not expected to be repaid but must be respected. Any nation without a nominal notion of its own making can never comprehend the forces that fashion it origins.

Haiti’s Caribbean vision illuminated America’s way out of its colonial darkness. This is the debt President Trump’s America owes Toussaint L’Ouverture’s Haiti. It’s a debt of philosophical clarity and political maturity. It’s a debt of how to rise to its best human potential. It’s a debt of exposure to higher standards. Haiti is really America’s Statue of Liberty.

The President’s truth making troops might not know, and probably care little for the fact that Haitian people were first in this modern world to build a nation completely free of the human scourge of slavery and native genocide. It might be worthless in their world view that Haiti’s leadership made the Caribbean the first civilization in modernity to criminalize and constitutionally uproot such crimes against humanity and to proceed with sustainability to build a nation upon the basis of universal freedom.

The tale of their two constitutions tells this truth. The American Independence Declaration of 2nd July, 1776, reinforced slavery as the national development model for the future. The Haitian Independence Declaration, 1st January, 1804, defined slavery a crime and banished it from its borders. Haiti, then, became the first nation in the world to enforce a provision of personal democratic freedom for all, and did so at a time when America was deepening its slavery roots.

The USA, therefore should daily bow before Haiti and thank it for the lessons it taught in how to conceptualize and create a democratic political and social order. Having built their nation on the pillars of property rights in humans, and realizing a century later that slavery and freedom could not coexist in the same nation, Americans returned to the battlefield to litigate the century’s bloodiest defining and deciding civil war.

Haiti was and will remain this hemisphere’s mother of modern democracy and the Caribbean the cradle of the first ethical civilization. For President Trump, therefore, to define the Caribbean’s noble heroes of human freedom, whose sacrifice was to empower and enlighten his nation in its darkest days as a site of human degradation, is beyond comprehension. It is a brutal bashing of basic truths that are in need, not of violation, but celebration.

Haiti, then, is mankind’s monument to its triumphant rise from the demonic descent into despair to the forging of its first democratic dispensation. It is home to humanity’s most resilient people who are the persistent proof of the unrelenting intent of the species to let freedom rain and reign.

Thankfully, many fine souls dedicated to social justice have risen to ‘write this wrong’ into the public record. Let’s take comfort in recalling one such line drawn on the highway of history. In this 2018 White House attempt to diminish Caribbean Civilization let’s read aloud a part of William Wordsworth’s 1802 celebratory sonnet to Toussaint L’Ouverture of Haiti, the greatest democracy mind of modernity:

“...though fallen thyself, never to rise again,
Live and take comfort. Thou have left behind
Powers that will work for thee,
Air, earth, and skies;
There’s not a breathing of the common wind
that will forget thee; thou have
great allies;
thy friends are exultation, agonies, and love,
and man’s unconquerable mind.

Expell Israeli Ambassador

Israeli Ambassador, Ami Mehl
“We hope such mistake will not be repeated by Ghana in subsequent motions...” Read article at GhanaWeb

GHANA MUST EXPEL ISRAELI AMBASSADOR FOR GROSS DISRESPECT, ABUSE OF HOSPITALITY AND DIPLOMATIC INCOMPETENCE- K. K. Pratt

"On Thursday the 21st December 2017, Ghana, in accordance with its stated and considered principles and in pursuant of its long term foreign policy objectives, exercised its non alienable sovereign right as an independent state and a bonafide member of the United Nations, by voting according to her conscience in favor of the General Assembly resolution; condemning the decision of President Trump of USA to move the USA embassy to the disputed Jerusalem.

This was done after careful and utmost considerations by the president, our permanent representative to the UN, Cabinet and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, as well as in close consultations with our friends in Africa Union and elsewhere.

The Israeli ambassador issued a statement yesterday in Ghana calling it a mistake and warning the Ghana government not to repeat such a mistake again. How dare he? Are our foreign policy objectives dictated, formulated or supervised from Tel Avive?

Israel is an occupying force in Palestine and an unwanted entity in Jerusalem. Ghana and the world have long recognized East Jerusalem as the legal and administrative capital of the state of Palestine. Like other members of the International community, Ghana believes, just like the USA believed only a few days ago,  that the final status of Jerusalem can only be settled through negotiations between Israel and Palestine under the two-state principle; and that any declarations, support or intentions to annex Jerusalem unilaterally by Israel with support from any quarters is null and void and of no effect intact or international law and standing.

It is for this reason that the statement by the Israeli ambassador yesterday is not only insulting and degrading to our country, but an affront to all decency in international diplomacy and our sovereignty.

I therefore call on the President of Ghana, the Speaker and Members of Parliament, as a matter of urgency, to restore the dignity of the country by immediately ordering the Minister of Foreign Affairs to invite the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana for a no nonsense dressing down and a demand for an unqualified apology. This must be followed be a declaration of the ambassador as a personae non grata and required to leave the shores of Ghana within 48 hours.

We must also follow it with a formal unambiguous complain to Tel Aviv about the conduct of the ambassador and call for an immediate session of the AU to discuss the conduct of both the ambassador and that of Israel on the aftermath of the General Assembly vote.

Ghana is a sovereign independent nation. Our vote in the UN and our foreign policy objectives must not be subject to the dictates of any other country."

HUMANS WAKE UP!

Africa has its many faults, however, those who are pointing the finger and placing blame on the African Continent for its impoverished conditions are the very same ones who are keeping Africa down and in poverty.

They Murdered Colonel Kaddafi. They turned World opinion against our Islamic brothers. They conjured up false terrorist groups, and wars, armed them to do their dirty work to depopulate and maintain a false sense of being a powerful World leader; all this and more to maintain control through the World Bank and its evil psychotic elite.

They have created these diversions in order to keep us disjointed; while we focus on that of which have nothing to do with our survival as humans or save humanity from the destruction that will come upon this earth, if we humans don’t get our act together.

We had best start looking at the real picture and what lies behind the Beast.  We must unite as a race of human beings and start showing love and respect towards one another. Otherwise we, neither this earth will survive.

I now have some insight into the words the Spirit spoke on 26February2017: "President Trump is an instrument of reconstruction" and people all around this world had better Catch that vision.

DONALD TRUMP'S FULL SPEECH ON WHY HE HATES AFRICANS & ARABS.

"We are not obliged, even for a second, to try to prove to anybody and especially to blacks and Arabs that we are superior people - we have demonstrated that to the black and Arabs in 1001 ways.

The America we know today was not created by wishful thinking. We created it at the expenses of intelligence, sweat and blood.....we do not pretend like other whites that we like the blacks - We must admit, without any fear ,that we don't like them ,and for so so may many valid reasons.

The fact that blacks and Arabs look like human beings does not necessarily make them sensible human beings. Hedgehogs are not porcupines and lizards are not crocodiles because they look alike. if God had wanted us to be equal to blacks and Arabs, he would have created us all of a uniform color and intellect. But he created us differently. Whites, blacks, yellow, the rulers and the ruled. intellectually we are superior to the blacks and Arabs. That has been proven beyond the reasonable doubt over the years.

I believe that a white man is an honest, God fearing person who has demonstrated practically the right way of being a human. By now every one of us has seen it practically that blacks and Arabs cannot rule themselves. Give them guns and they will kill each other. They are good in nothing else but making noise, dancing, marrying many wives, alcoholism, witchcraft, indulging in sex, pretending in church, jealousy, fighting and complaining of nonsense.

Their only main concern (which according to me is stupidity of the highest magnitude) is same - sex marriages. They keep pointing fingers to us, we the west ,that we have legalized it in our countries, and that we always outspokenly support gay people around the world. And because they always foolishly want to demonstrate their ignorance, hatred and fear about the subject, some of them have even enacted harsh laws to condemn their own gay citizens. This shows that beyond illusions and doubt what people do with their own bodies is Africans main concern. I hear they even strip their women publicly.

Let us all accept the fact that the black man is a symbol of poverty, mental inferiority, laziness and emotional incompetence. To make the matter worse, he can do everything possible to defend his stupidity. Give them money for development and they will fight and create hatred and enmity for themselves. Drill oil wells for them and they will not have peace all the days of their life. See, for instance, what's happening in Nigeria, Southern Sudan, Malawi, DRC just to mention a few.

this proves to anybody including a stupid fool that Africans do not know what they want.  Isn't that plausible?

Therefore that the white man is created to rule the black man, Africans will always have day dreams. And here is the creature (black man) that lacks foresight but only sees what is near him and still fails to know what to do. A black man is stupid to the extent that he cannot plan for his life beyond a year. Therefore how can they develop and live longer.

Corruption in west (And China) is a big abomination but in Africa, it's so huge that it is slowly becoming an acceptable way of life. They sing and rejoice to their corrupt political leaders. They worship their scandal-ridden religious leaders like their gods. Lest you forget, these so called Africans are praising, dancing and praying for the people that have impoverished them, and who comes to hide their loot here.

Then which fool argues that the black man is not born a beggar, grows a beggar, looks a beggar, falls sick as a beggar and dies a beggar. this has been proven beyond reasoning. I wonder why even up to now most Africans still go to school by force and those who are at school are just drug addicts who don't know what took them there. This is a pregnant stupidity in Africa that needs Jesus's immediate second coming. The body of Africans is a very fertile ground for all diseases in the world because they don't fear even HIV/AIDS. This leaves me with a question: are our eyes created the same with those Africans? I hear there are still cultures in Africa that prohibit them from using latrines which is very annoying.

They cried for independence but have failed to rule themselves. For sure being African is a very untreatable disease that even prayers are not enough.

They have minerals but they cannot do anything with it. Therefore let us (whites) go to Africa and pick what we can pick and leave what is of no use. Poverty is a disease to the whites but to the blacks it is very normal.

The worst tragedy in Africa is that if you dare stand up and speak up for what's right, you may end up regretting. The few wise and open-minded Africans who have tried to educate these fools about civilization have met the worst. They have been pushed hard on the wall, they have been silenced and others have been killed.

Before I finish ,let me tell Africans that before you jump and call me a racist, and anti-blacks or whatever term you may wish to use against me, first tackle runaway corruption, dreadful terrorism, tribalism, poverty, unemployment, diseases, illiteracy ,ignorance and inequality that have put your whole continent on the verge of collapse. Hate me or love me I don't care. I know this is the plain truth which will never see the light of the day to the cowards that are afraid to be told as it is.

Jesus please hurry and save Africans and Arabs. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE."  ~ Donald .J. Trump.

From the horse’s mouth or should I say asses mouth...So sad most of what he said is true. Those of Diaspora around the World, dont think for one minute that he is not referring to you too!

Yawl continue to call on the same Roman/Greek Jesus they gave you to control,  sidetracked and steal from you.

When will humans wake up? We must become enlightened if we want to survive. We must unite if civilized humanity is to be restored. We must wake up if we want to leave a better earth for our children and the generations to come. Catch the vision.
