 Phase One has targeted sidewalk/gutters and the construction of  3 public toilet facilities along the main highway.

 Installing sidewalks and gutters will cover open sewers making for a more healthfully safe and attractive open market place.

 The Village of Ajumako  is an undeveloped agricultural community with over 200 undeveloped acres targeted for agriculture and raising cattle.  

The Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District is one of the seventeen (17) districts in the Central Region of Ghana.  Ajumako is the capital village. The Village is exceptionally clean and the villagers are friendly and make the most out of what they have; taking great pride in what they do.  

The Village has a mayor and is administered by Parliamentary procedures through a Royal Counsel with a population of approximately 50,000+ in the Village of Ajumako alone. 

The King, pictured here, Nana Kwamena Hammah Ababio II is an unquestionable man of integrity who has a vision for the Village to become  growers of produce and raising cattle on the idle acreage. Nana Ababio II is the Omanhen (King) of Efua Ajumako Traditional Area. 

The lack of  technology, support and funding has been the greatest obstacle in developing an agricultural hub, raising cattle and boosting the economy in that region.  This would not only make the Village self sufficient but employ locals and provide a means of  enhancing the way of life for the villagers in all districts.  

With the major paved highway going through each village makes the region ideal for attracting tourist providing easy accessibility to export its produce and products.

Chief has teamed up with His Excellency Nana Ababio II to implement various projects.  

Apostle Rubie James is the Administrator of HIS Love and Truth Ministries International and founder of Mission Ghana.  She is personal Assistant to  Nana Gyepi III both have been commissioned by the King to act on the serving as liaison to His Excellency Ababio to facilitate effective communications.  Apostle James will raise funding for various projects and making the necessary contacts to ensure the success and accountability of every project; making certain that the Kings wishes for the Village  will be beneficial for its   people. 

King Ababio, Nana Gyepi neither Apostle Rubie are benefiting for personal gain and are working in a volunteer capacity.

Timbuktu

I remember my daddy talking  about Timbuktu when I was a child and now wish that I would have been more attentive to what he said. 

 I did not understand why I have always felt ill at ease and as if I never belonged.  I certainly have never fit in. I have always had a heart for Afrika, since I was a child. With each passing year and with each revelation of truth, this innate desire has increased as returning to Afrika has been tugging profusely at my heart; connected as a navel cord that has never been detached in the birth process  from  my Mother.

Originally, known as Timbuktu and inhabited by the Moors, Timbuktu was called the Kingdom of Ghana.  The Kingdom of Ghana, a Hebrew/Jewish Nation bordered the  North of Afrika called by the Europeans  Gibraltar, which was inhabited by  Moors (Blacks) and Islamic Nations.

Timbuktu was the international trade center of the world and goods were sent to Egypt for trade up and down the Nile.  By the 15^th Century Timbuktu was lauded as the wealthiest Nations in the world. In addition it became the 14^th Century academic and Islamic  learning  center of the world.

HEAD RAG MISNOMER

OMG…LOL…I went out today with a “head Rag” on!  I have this stigma about the head rag thing from growing up in the 50’s  and 60’s when “Black” women were depicted as “Aunt Jemima’s”, cleaning women, cooks, ignorant cotton-pickers…Aaaw,   yawl know what I talking about! 

Anyway, in my research, I found that Black women were required to wear head coverings because we got so fancy with our hairstyles that White women complained and it was actually initiated into  law in some states that we could not go out in public with our hair uncovered!  Just thought that I’d throw that in  there.

Needless to say, since I have retraced my royal beginnings, all those negative depictions were not negative at all but portrayed our status as royalty; as being married and unmarried and for religious purposes! 

Many of you know that my heart has been for Afrika (even since I was a child).   For some time now, I have had a vision to take the ministry I have been given to Afrika called MISSION GHANA.  

With each passing year and with each revelation of truth, this innate desire has increased as returning to Afrika has been tugging profusely at my heart; connected as a navel cord that has never been detached in the birth process from my mother.

I guess I should say that I very conspicuously displayed the Christian Dior writing on the scarf that I was wearing just in case there was some of those Aunt Jemima cultured people who might have seen me. 

The ways of our Ancestors, I am still working on from head to toe mostly the spiritual aspects then the physical.  I do have a way to go when it comes to things such as the head wraps.  

None the less, I threw my head up, held high as I walked around in public; hoping that the people of West Linn, Oregon would see, wonder or know the concept of rich Afrikan heritage that lays behind the head wrap.

Just FYI some of the terms used for Afrikan head-wraps are  'duku’, 'ichafu’, 'dhuku' , 'tukwi', and 'gele'. I know that I did not list them all because of the many and varied Afrikan dialects.  However, no matter the dialect or language, in the Mother Land, the head-wrap is used as an ornamental head covering, fashion accessory, religious modesty or for functionality.   

You best believe that I will learn much in the upcoming years.
