Jamaica PICA Can Why Can't Ghana?

PICA’s online Passport Application Portal was recently tested by delegates at the Eighth Biennial Diaspora Conference, held from June 16 to 20 at the Jamaica Conference Centre, downtown Kingston. Photo by Dave Reid ~ Jamaica Information Service
It may not have been a bad thing for Ghana to hook up with Jamaica  offering free Visas for the Year of Return 2019.

"The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) will shortly roll out its online application systems for immigration and citizenship services." Declares Jamaica."

I will always contend that until Africa, in particular Ghana, revamp and organize their Immigration Services to accommodate other African countries and Africans of Diaspora, they continue to solidify the colonial/slave agenda designed to seperate our people keeping us  in a state of discord and distrust for the other.

I speak of Ghana because I live in Ghana, as most of you know.  I have experienced the biases, inept business practices, injustices, unfairness,  darkness and chaos; hatred and rejection perpetuated through a strongly engrained colonial/slave government and European/Western Religious Systems.  Both of these Systems harbors biases  towards those Africans of Original Diaspora or HUG (Historical Unique Group).

Jamaica seems to be moving fast forward in its immigration policies.  Jamaica has not only revamped its immigration policies but has, it seems, simplified the process, something Ghana can obviously learn from.

Jamaica is offering on line application registration and a 'help center' to aid both Jamacians and non Jamaicans through the process.
